There are a number of appointments available for each GP, Nurse Practitioner or Paramedic Monday to Friday that can be pre-booked in advance.
Patients can also complete an eConsult via the link 'Get Started' on the website. This is for non-urgent requests, as well as administrative requests such as sick notes.

South Grange Medical Centre is open 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday with pre-bookable appointments available between 6.30-8pm each weekday. We also open Saturdays approxminately once a month. Please ask Reception for further details.

During normal practice opening hours, the practice remains your first point of contact for all routine requests.
If possible please try to telephone reception before 10am if you require a home visit.
A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.
House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.
Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.
If you are a patient with difficulties in speaking English the surgery staff are able to arrange for an interpreter to attend your appointment with you and to interpret for you.
It is important that you inform the reception staff if you are unable to attend your appointment, this will allow that appointment to be offered to another patient. If you fail to notify the Practice that you are unable to attend, you will be sent a letter informing you that you have defaulted from your appointment. Persistent defaulters maybe removed from the list.
You can also complete our appointment cancellation notification request form. This can only be used if your appointment has been arranged for more than 24 hours in advance. (excluding weekends and public holidays). You can also text to cancel your appointment.
We have a texting service which allows you to receive confirmation and reminders about your appointments.
To have this service you will need to register by completing a consent form.
