You may recall that we contacted patients in June 2025 to seek your views about our application to the ICB to permanently close the Lagan Surgery branch.

This change will help us provide better services for our patients and stronger support for our staff team.

We are pleased to announce that our application for the branch closure has been approved.

The Lagan Surgery branch will close on 16^th February 2026.

After this date, appointments will be delivered from:

• South Grange Medical Centre, Eston, TS6 9QG
• Coatham Surgery, Redcar, TS10 1SR

We have arrangements in place to work together across both sites to ensure continued access to all services. There will be no change in telephone numbers, opening hours, staffing or reduction in appointments.

There are no forms to complete, and you do not need to take any further action. Patients will remain registered with South Grange Medical Centre.
